New procedures to maintain the Register of lease agreements will take effect in June 2019

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Construction, in connection with this, the agency conducts an information campaign on innovations. The matter concerns contracts concluded for a period up to 5 years. The Register is maintained by the mayoralty of the settlement, on the territory of which there are leased land and other agricultural property. If leased land and other agricultural property are located in several localities, the lease is registered in each of the respective mayoralty. The Register can be maintained manually or electronically. The following data is entered in the register of lease agreements: the parties to the agreement, their place of residence or location; cadastral numbers; square; bonitet of land leased; the procedure for using them; rental period; taxpayer that leases agricultural property; etc. The term for consideration of documents under a lease agreement shall not exceed 15 days from the date of receipt of the last required document. The lease registration is confirmed by the seal of the respective mayoralty, the date stamped in the contract and the signature of the person responsible for the registration. Regulations on the procedure to maintain registers of land lease agreements also regulate the conditions for termination of lease agreements, the procedure for their termination or amendment.
