Caravan of Kindness. From capital with love.

For 10 years consecutively, during the period of winter holidays has started Christmas charitable campaign Christmas Caravan. It is a kind winter fairytale with funny competitions and sweet presents. People are offered an unique opportunity, without any intermediary, from hand to hand, to offer their presents to children and see glimpse of happiness in the eyes of these children.

Yearly, in the period between 15-24 December, the Foundation together with the Direction of Education, Youth and Sport from Chisinau, as well as with the capital’s schools organizes the charitable campaign Christmas Caravan for orphan children and for children who are in situation of crisis.

The Caravan’s destinations are various – boarding-schools, orphanages, hospitals, centers for families with many children, colonies for minor criminals – in one word – children in situation of crisis. The Caravan visits only the villages from the most remote corners of Moldova. Sometimes, in order to get to the point of destination, it is necessary   to reload the present and the dresses of fairytale heroes on the tractor and finally reach the destination, or to pull the bus on a tow a few kilometers until the place where the inpatient children are waiting for the performance.

This charitable action is meant to offer to these children, in the Christmas period, a little bit of care and joy, a piece of our soul, so that for a moment they can feel that they are not alone and there is someone who cares and remembers them. This is why the organizers did not choose to bring children to the Christmas Tree  to Chisinau, but instead chose to visit themselves the most  remote places from the republic, bringing along with them and offering to every child not only sweet presents, but also a nice theatre performance. And the most important feature – the Caravan’s participants share with these children a piece of their soul, lighting up the ray of joy and happiness in their eyes.
